New Year's Resolutions

It's 2012, and I might as well join the club and make some resolutions. Fine, here goes nothing:

1) In 2011 I completed two novels, Dead of Night and Transfer. In 2012, I want to complete two more. And I Feel Fine will be complete in (probably) late summer. Done is Done won't be nearly as long, and I imagine it will be ready in fall of 2012. I have plans once those are done, but I won't reveal them here yet since plans have a way of changing on me.

2) Finish Steven Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen series. Once I'm done with JF Perkins' excellent Renewal series, I'll get to this. I'm currently in the middle of the fourth book in both series, and I hope to have them finished by the end of the year. Renewal is taking priority, since a single book in the Malazan series is about equal to entire Renewal series, length-wise.

You notice all of these goals involve writing and reading. While I have other hopes as well, I won't make any actual plans there. Things just happen in my life, and beams can quake in an instant.
